The Totalcool story begins in the United Kingdom. In 2015, James Burt and Adam Drinkwater decided to turn their passion for travel, camping, and outdoor activities into a business. From their own experiences on the road, they saw a clear need for compact, energy-efficient, and reliable solutions for people who love to travel independently.
Totalcool was founded with this vision.
The first product was an innovative portable air cooler, designed to provide comfort on warm days while on the go. Thanks to its compact design, low energy consumption, and versatile connection options for 12V, 24V, and mains power, Totalcool quickly became a trusted brand among motorhome users, caravanners, water sports enthusiasts, truck drivers, and outdoor lovers.
Growth from the United Kingdom to Europe
Due to Totalcool's growing popularity, there was a need to serve customers in Europe more quickly and effectively.
In 2023, Totalcool took the next step with the opening of a European warehouse in the Netherlands. From this location, customers in Europe could benefit from faster delivery, more efficient logistics, and better support.
This European presence formed the basis for further growth and a stronger connection with customers and partners on the European continent.

Since 2026, Totalcool Europe B.V. has been an independent European company.
From Hoogeveen, the Netherlands, we provide distribution, service, and support for customers and partners throughout Europe. As a European organization, we combine the experience and innovation of the original British brand with the accessibility and personal service that European customers expect.
In addition to our own sales channels, we have also started collaborating with specialized dealers in Europe. This allows customers not only to buy our products directly from Totalcool but also to discover and purchase them through selected sales points near them.
