I recently purchased the TF-Xtreme 50 Portable Fridge Freezer, and I’m thoroughly impressed! This unit is compact, yet surprisingly spacious. It’s easy to use, energy-efficient, and runs quietly, which makes it perfect for any situation – whether it’s for camping, road trips, or just extra storage at home. The low power usage is a huge plus, saving me money on electricity. Plus, it looks great with its sleek, modern design, and feels incredibly sturdy. A strong, reliable unit that combines style and functionality. Highly recommend it!

Brilliant service and brilliant bit of kit

Well I ordered it at really short notice, it arrived next day, so as per instructions I left it to settle on level ground for about 6 hours. I’ve plugged into mains, had it on Max , then whilst on Journey to France placed it on ECO, it’s very quite pulls down to temperature pretty quick, I really am well pleased with it. I am taking it to France fishing , I am running it off of power pack and solar , no problem what so ever highly recommend it.

You will receive your TFX40 along with a Totalfreeze AC adapter, a Totalfreeze 12V lead, an AC mains lead (UK & EU) and a user guide.

Will the TFX40 run my battery flat?

No, the unit has a built-in battery protection system that will cut out at 9.5 volts always leaving you enough power to start the engine.

How long will the TFX40 run on a caravan / motorhome battery?

Depending on the size of the battery and the setting around 20 – 30 hours on average.

How long will the TFX40 run on my car battery?

Again, depending on the size of the battery and the mode setting around 12 – 15 hours on average.
(The above can be worked out by dividing the wattage of the battery by the wattage used per hour. A 600-watt battery divided by 45 watts an hour would last 13.3 hours).

How long will the TFX40 run off the Totalpower 600?

Around 30 – 35 hours depending on the mode setting and ambient temperature.

How long will it take for the TFX40 to reach -20 degrees?

Around 20 – 30 minutes depending on ambient temperature.

Does it matter what the ambient temperature is?

No, the compressor will just work harder to reach the desired temperature and may take slightly longer.

Is the TFX40 noisy?

No and the compressor works intermittently so when the compressor is not on there is no sound at all.

How much does the TFX40 weigh?

The TFX40 weighs 16 kg.

Is the TFX40 tough?

Yes it is made out of the highest quality polypropylene.

instructions / lack of plugs for solar

A little explanatory sheet regarding the use.
Is the unit fully charged
that the little labels are switches and cause the display
theirs a light on the back!
I understand you want to sell your solar but many purchasers like me have roof solar to connect to.
Ps ran our small air fryer off it over weekend (raining) worked great the unit recharged in 15mins from 75% from the mains
