How much does the Totalsolar 100 weigh?

Only 3.6kg.

What is the difference between the Totalsolar 100 and cheaper models online?

The main difference is quality and efficiency. Cheaper models will state they are 100 watt but will not give you the efficiency you need to charge things like the Totalpower range, which the Totalsolar 100 is designed to do. Also, the Totalsolar uses sun power cells which are the best in the industry. Also, most solars have a 1 year warranty and the Totalsolar has a 2 year warranty.

How long will it take to charge the Totalpower 500?

In full sunshine you will be putting around 80 watts an hour back into the battery so around 8 hours. Obviously the less sun you have, the longer the charge.

How do I charge my Totalpower 500 with the Totalsolar 100?

Simple. The 3m 5.5x2.1mm adapter lead plugs directly in to the INPUT port found at the rear of the TP500. You’ll need to use the yellow connector for the TP500.

How much does the Totalpower 500 weigh?

It weighs 6.5kg.

What is the difference between the Totalpower 500 and cheaper models?

The Totalpower 500 uses Lithium-Ion cells most lower end battery banks use lithium – Polymer which are far less efficient.

Can I use a mains powered hair dryer or fan heater?

No, the max power that can be used in the AC mains sockets is 300 watts so things like fan heater and aircon systems are too power hungry. You can run low power mains devices such as laptops, LED lights some power tools etc.

Can you charge the Totalpower 500 with a solar panel?

Yes, you need a 100 watt – 120 watt solar panel and it would take 10 -11 hours in full sunshine. 1.5m MC4 cables have been provided which plug into most solar panels.

Can you charge the Totalpower 500 in your car and how long does it take?

Yes, it takes around 10 -11 hours on a standard 48-watt 12 volt cigarette lighter socket.
